Wayside House is a dual diagnosis substance abuse treatment center that serves women ages 18 and over. In addition to the residential program, we offer a partial hospitalization program, intensive outpatient program, outpatient program, and aftercare for our clients. Addiction is a complex disease and needs a multi-disciplined approach. Thus it is addressed through multiple therapy modalities including individual therapy, didactic group therapy, family therapy, yoga, EMDR therapy, equine therapy, Psychodrama, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

MSW 1st year Generalists, MSW 2nd Year and Advanced Standing Students - Clinical
Wayside House is an on-site facility that is open 24 hours a day. Agency hours are flexible. Residential programming hours are Monday through Friday 8:45 am – 5:51 pm, and Saturdays 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm. Partial Hospitalization Group Programming are held Monday through Friday 8:45 am – 3:45 pm. Interactive outpatient groups are held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5:00 am – 8:00 pm. The agency is accessible by bus. All applicants will need to complete a level II background check and drug screening before internship finalization.
