Wellspring Counseling is a non-profit organization offering counseling and education to the community. Our population range from children to geriatrics. We offer a wide array of specialties including trauma and equine assisted therapies to eating disorders and ADHD diagnosis and work. We also do marital counseling as well as anxiety and depression.  We offer "Bounce!" A camp to under-served populations of children with trauma which is a week-long intensive program that incorporates equine therapy, are therapy and other experiential therapies as well as a psycho-education to help these children “Bounce back from trauma.”

Special Information

The agency is accepting MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Students for clinical part and full time hours. Also, the agency is expanding and will be accepting BSW students. The bulk of student work will be at the office however students will be conducting the pre and post evaluations of Bounce! Camp participants and with many system kids they may need to see children at group homes or schools. Audio and video taping of sessions is available with client consent. Wellspring operates Monday – Friday 9am – 9pm and Saturdays 9am-3pm. We have 3offices 1 is adjacent to public transportation but due to hours it is highly advised that students have a personal vehicle.
