Welcome Week at the College of Social Work: Fall 2022

The FSU College of Social Work welcomes back students for the Fall 2022 semester with events through the first week of classes. The events allow incoming students several opportunities to get to know fellow students as well as familiarize themselves with the college, faculty, staff and available resources.
August 21: Welcome Tours and Ice Cream Social
Students can participate in tours of the College of Social Work and an ice cream social on Sunday, August 21st the day before classes start from 3-4:30 pm.
August 22: Morning Snack Break
On the first day of classes, students are welcomed by program directors Carol Edwards (BSW Program) and Fran Gomory (MSW Program) during a morning snack break from 9-11 am in the social work lobby of University Center C.
August 23: Pizza Party and Games
In the Collaboration Lab, students, faculty and staff will gather from 4-6 pm for pizza, bingo and board games.
August 24: Meet Your Advisor
BSW Advisor Zoey Zeitlin and MSW Advisor Michael Robinson will be available to chat with students in the social work lobby of University Center C from 11 am until 1 pm.
August 25: Afternoon Snack Break
Students can enjoy another snack break from 4-5:30 pm and a chat with program directors Fran Gomory (MSW Program) and Carol Edwards (BSW Program) in the social work lobby of University Center C.
