Agape has one of South Florida’s only Level II Residential Treatment Program that serves women, 18 and older, pregnant or parenting mothers with children who are facing the challenges of chronic substance use disorders, persistent mental illness, or co-occurring disorders.  Gender-specific evidence-based treatment is delivered in a state-of-the-art, 85 bed facility located on our six-acre campus in South Miami-Dade County.  Agape provides care coordination with all systems of care.  We are a service provider for the Department of Children and Families, Department of Corrections, Criminal Justice System, Forensics Chapter 916, F.s evaluation of Competency or Sanity, Adjudicated Incompetent to Proceed or Not guilty by Reason of Insanity, State Mental health Facilities and Hospitals.  Agape integrates behavioral primary care services to meet each client’s psychological, social, physical, and spiritual needs.  These four elements are addressed in treatment, with the use of population health technology to dive health management and the delivery of consistent, high-quality care emphasizing personal responsibility and individual initiative.

Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (SL + clinical). Full- and part-time positions available.
Supervision is an LMHC.  
No transportation needed or home visits. Agency accessible by bus.
No stipend available.
No video-/audio-taping permitted.
Liability insurance not required.
Agency hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM. 
Intern Job description is PSR groups, Assessments, Biopsychosocials, FARS, MHO.  Individual therapy, continued stay requests, crisis interventions, and assistance with other assigned tasks.
