Ark of Freedom Alliance works to prevent the trafficking of children while empowering historically marginalized youth populations with a focus on youth experiencing homelessness, substance abuse and or co-occurring mental health challenges, LGBTQIA, criminal justice involvement and history of trauma.  Professional training to law enforcement, service providers, public health and community stakeholders; prevention education to 12 to 24  year old high risk youth; street and online outreach; emergency shelter stay and survivor housing for adult male and LGBTQ survivors of sexualized violence and human trafficking, social worker educates and engages community, direct street and online outreach, crisis intervention, screening, brief intervention and referral to treatment, case management, care coordination, policy and protocol development.

Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (SL + clinical). Full- and part-time positions available.
Video-/audio-taping permitted with permission.  Under no circumstances will clients be a video of or audiotaped unless express permission is given after detailed advocacy, when and if that is allowed, then shall only be used for internal training and evaluation.  
We operate 7 days a week and can mobilize anytime to respond to intervention.  Much work is done remotely, however staffing board meeting and task work to be completed onsite at admin office or housing location, and in the field.  
No stipend or other compensation available.
