Creative Mind Solutions, Inc. (CMS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing creative educational programming for youth and families. We are committed to inspiring lifelong and continuum learning by supporting our educational and community systems. Our non-profit provides direct literacy programming, STEM Education Activities for children ages Birth-18. We directly support parents, teachers, and administrators in accessing students' needs and progress. We also assist in developing creative academic plans, enrichment plans and social emotional plans to support parents and students. We offer Youth Leadership Development trainings to both at risk and non-at-risk youth. Our trainings expand to support nonprofits in successfully engaging stakeholders. Additionally, we provide training in: Classroom Management, Engaging Students, Lesson Planning, and Making Data Driven Decisions, Afterschool and Extended Day Program Planning, Trainings for College Students Preparing to work in Social Science areas and Team Building and Professional Development.

Special Placement Information:

Accepting BSW and MSW 1st-year students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Students are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from the internship. Due to the sensitivity of material video and audio taping is not permitted. The Agencies work hours are Monday- Friday from 8am-5pm. Weekend hours are available based upon programming this is scheduled and offered at such time. The agency is accessible by bus; however students are responsible for attending community meetings and programs. To maintain the safety of our staff, clients and inters, students should be vaccinated and should also wear a mask while in the office and while meeting with client or the community. upon the successful completion of the internship if the budget permits, inters may receive a stipend.
