NWF Health Network serves as the Network Management agency for child welfare and substance abuse and mental health services in Northwest Florida. Our sole purpose is to provide the highest quality child welfare, substance abuse and mental health services to children, adults and their families within the communities through a managed network of accredited providers. NWF Health serves as a centralized source of resources and support for our community and agency partners. The intern will work with the Network Coordinator with day to day responsibilities including attending leadership meetings and interacting with social service agencies in developing policies and managing program oversight to ensure compliance with agency contract, as well as meeting state and federal requirements. The intern will assist in realigning the Child Welfare Integration meeting and develop a working agreement between the NWF and the provider network. The intern will gain experience working in a professional office environment and will have the opportunity to expand their leadership qualities.

Special placement information:

Accepting full-time MSW 2nd Year/Advanced Standing (Social leadership) students. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  However, there may be activities within the community that an intern can benefit from during the weekend and evening hours. The agency will determine travel reimbursement. There is no stipend available.
