Students need to have a training license through the Ohio Social Work Board. A select few students may be offered a paid internship which includes hourly rate, paid holidays, retirement benefits, and more. Students will need transportation to get to their assigned location, but will not need transportation otherwise. Audio taping is sometimes permitted with appropriate informed consent.

MSW 2nd year advanced standing clinical. The Vines Hospital in Marion County offers acute crisis stabilization, psychiatric care, detox services and an exclusive gender-specific women’s trauma program. Adult Psychiatric Services provides crisis intervention and stabilization through a variety of treatment activities. The Meadows is specially designed unit to meet the unique needs of women with significant trauma-related issues. The Partial Hospitalization Program helps prevent decompensation and the need for rehospitalization. The H.O.P.E. Program serves active duty and veteran females from the effects of Military Sexual Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress.
