Beren Crim Sabuncu
Crim, a graduate student instructor at the College of Social Work, is particularly interested in incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion into her teaching. She also works as a research assistant at the Center of Population Sciences for Health Equity. She works on projects exploring the complex interplay between social determinants and health outcomes, focusing on trauma etiology within marginalized communities. More specifically, her focus on gerontology, HIV, and LGBT communities guides her research. Crim serves as the Equity Representative within the Doctoral Student Organization.
